Hello! My name is Oscar Romero and I am the owner of FateWorks Farms; you can see me here with my dog, Rory, enjoying the garden. I really enjoy gardening & plants (especially if I can eat them!). I’d say that I also enjoy art, entrepreneurship, programming, and have many other interests that are outside the scope of this site; however, so that we are on the same page, let me share what this is all about!
I could say that FateWorks Farms was born right when I caught the gardening bug on one lazy afternoon while looking for something, anything, that YouTube hadn’t shown me before, but it would be more accurate to state that it actually came about from way before; just from the simple want to better myself, to better my health, and to break away–if only a little–from the clutches of modern-day living and social expectations.
I couldn’t help but want more control in what I introduced into my life, starting with one of the most important things in the world, as far as a being that needs to eat is concerned, food.
Our relationship to food goes past just nutrition and encompasses culture, art, beauty, and FLAVOR, yet our connection to how it is actually grown is lost except to those who develop the interest or are brought up in that environment. My goal here online is to record and share my journey and any of my experiences while growing my own food, so that I could inspire you to do just the same.
I run a small Shop here on this website (and others), go check it out! You can grab some merchandise for you to show off to your friends and family or to give out as the perfect gift! Even though it is just me–and my 
doggo–I work and engage with other teams and suppliers that help me expand my resources beyond what I could accomplish myself, bringing you the best service possible.
